Appeals against criminal convictions / Wrongful convictions
We know that being wrongly convicted of any criminal offence is a stressful and traumatic event. Our specialist team will help you find grounds for appeal if they exist.
Sometimes this will involve us supporting your case to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC). This is an independant organisation which investigates alleged miscarriages of justice.
Regardless of whether you were represented by us in your original court case or not, we will provide our expert analysis on the merits of any appeal.
This may be to challenge the courts decision in finding you guilty, and/or the length or type of sentence it passed upon you.
If you, or a family member, feel that you have a case which may warrant appeal, contact us to speak to one of our team.
